RASC News Agency: A Taliban official named Shamsuddin Homayoun, the governor of Yangi Qala district in Takhar province, has seized 300 acres of government land in Khwaja Bahauddin district of the province. Sources in Takhar reported to the media on Sunday, February 11th, that these 300 acres of land consist of pasture and forest areas near the Amu River, which have been forcibly taken over by the governor of Yangi Qala district.
Furthermore, sources indicate that Haji Chupan, an associate of Shamsuddin Homayoun, has converted these “pasture lands” into agricultural fields and is utilizing them. This comes as Taliban authorities in various provinces of the country have repeatedly seized government lands by force, exploiting them for their benefit and financial gain.
It is worth noting that during their two-year rule in Afghanistan, the Taliban have often imposed their demands and actions forcefully on the people of the country, fueling the anger of the nation’s citizens.
