RASC News Agency: Taliban security officials in Kabul province have announced the detention of three women on charges of theft and deceiving the public in the province. According to a bulletin released by the Taliban’s security command in Kabul on Sunday, Feb 11, forces of this group apprehended these women during a theft.

The Taliban bulletin stated that these women were “deceptively stealing from people’s homes” in various areas of Kabul city and were apprehended “in the act” by the group’s forces. Further details regarding this news have not been disclosed. This comes as criminal incidents have increased in various provinces of the country following the Taliban’s control. After assuming power, the Taliban have imposed increasing restrictions on women’s activities and participation, leading to an unprecedented rise in poverty among families.

Under the Taliban’s rule in Afghanistan, citizens have been deprived of their most fundamental freedoms and rights, with the group widely accused of human rights violations and the suppression of freedom of expression.
