RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has reported detonating an improvised mine, targeting a Taliban military vehicle in Takhar province. According to a newsletter released by the Front, the attack occurred around 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30th, specifically targeting the municipal building of the Taliban group in Taleqan city.
The explosion resulted in the death of one Taliban member, while two others sustained injuries. Despite the increasing number of attacks by opposing factions against the Taliban group in various provinces, officials of the Taliban group in Takhar province have yet to comment on this incident.
In a separate incident, the Freedom Front of Afghanistan announced that their forces launched an attack on two outposts belonging to the Taliban group in Kabul. The attack, which occurred last night, resulted in the deaths of six Taliban members and left six others injured. Additionally, sources from Herat province reported that unidentified armed individuals shot a Taliban member in the Injil district of the province. These incidents highlight the escalating tensions between the Taliban group and opposing factions within Afghanistan.
