RASC News Agency: Reports from Parwan province indicate that the Taliban has ousted former government employees within the Department of Education, replacing them with their own appointees. On Thursday, December 14th, media outlets were informed that nine officials and managers in the Department of Education were relieved of their positions by the Taliban administration. These individuals, once government employees, have now been reassigned to lower-ranking roles as school principals. Notably, the replacements selected by the Taliban are reported to be graduates of religious schools.

Despite extensive transformations initiated by the Taliban within government offices since assuming control of the country, the group has not officially addressed this specific matter in Parwan. It’s crucial to highlight that the Taliban’s strategy involves dismissing previous government staff and filling these positions with individuals holding religious titles like Qari, Mullah, and Mawlawi. This approach has presented challenges across the nation, given the lack of expertise among Taliban members. Consequently, Afghanistan’s educated youth are grappling with unemployment, contemplating migration to neighboring countries due to the Taliban’s retaliatory measures.

Following the Taliban’s ascension to power, the country has experienced a surge in the dismissal of qualified professionals, resulting in a pronounced shortage of expertise across various sectors. The replacements favored by the Taliban often lack essential skills and qualifications, intensifying the unemployment crisis among educated youth. Consequently, many individuals are now seeking opportunities in neighboring countries, aspiring to secure employment and stability elsewhere. The Taliban’s actions not only disrupt the functionality of government departments but also cast far-reaching implications on the nation’s workforce and its future prospects.
