RASC News Agency: In the wake of escalating traffic incidents across various provinces of the country, sources in Nimruz report two significant events in the province. Sources in Nimruz disclosed that in the first incident, a “Vix” type car belonging to Taliban group militants collided with a Land Cruiser type car on the Zaranj-Delaram highway during noon on Thursday, December 7th. According to information from Nimruz sources, as a result of this incident, two Taliban members lost their lives, and five others, including four Taliban members, sustained severe injuries.

On another note, sources state that the second incident occurred in the morning in the “Chigani” area near Zaranj city, where a “Luxel” type car collided first with a rickshaw and then with a passenger vehicle. According to information obtained from Nimruz province sources, one person lost their life, two others were injured, and they were subsequently transported to the hospital as a result of this incident. It is worth mentioning that the Taliban group has not made any statements regarding these two incidents in Nimruz province. This comes at a time when daily reports of traffic incidents in various provinces reach the media, indicating that these incidents have also resulted in casualties.

It is noteworthy that, according to experts, factors such as road damage, speeding, driver recklessness, lack of traffic signs on certain roads, and incomplete driver training are among the fundamental reasons contributing to the occurrence of traffic incidents.
