RASC News Agency: On Wednesday, November 29th, local sources in Samangan province brought to light an incident involving the bodyguard of the head of the Taliban group’s Labor and Social Affairs Department. Identified as Abdul Rahman, also known as Shinki, he was reported to have sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy three nights ago. This reprehensible act occurred within the confines of the Labor and Social Affairs Department dormitory in Samangan Province. After the victim lodged a complaint, Abdul Rahman was apprehended and incarcerated by the Taliban group in Samangan province. Nevertheless, local officials of the group have yet to comment on this distressing incident.

This occurrence emerges amidst a series of comparable moral scandals implicating members of the Taliban group. Media outlets across various provinces of the country have previously exposed visual evidence, such as images and videos, depicting sexual assault committed by Taliban officials. In another appalling event, the commander of the group in Pashtun Kot district of Faryab province shot a teenage boy for rejecting a sexual demand. It is crucial to note that, in the majority of these cases, the Taliban group has released its members without subjecting them to trial or punishment, following only a brief period of detention.

Despite the claims made by the Taliban group regarding their commitment to combat corruption and prostitution within the country, reports indicate that their own members are engaged in immoral acts within society. These incidents give rise to grave concerns regarding the group’s dedication to upholding moral values and safeguarding the rights of individuals, particularly children. It is imperative that the authorities conduct a thorough investigation into these cases and ensure that those responsible are held accountable for their reprehensible actions.
