RASC News Agency: The leader of the National Resistance Front, Ahmad Massoud, and his delegation have arrived in Moscow to participate in an international meeting titled “Afghanistan: Between the Past and the Future on the Path of Just Peace and Sustainable Development.” The National Resistance Front has reported that the one-day meeting will run until the end of Thursday, November 23rd. The meeting is being organized by the “Just World Institute,” with the support of the Just Russia Party of the Parliament of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event will feature the attendance of numerous prominent political, civil, and military leaders from Afghanistan, alongside politicians and experts from the Russian Federation.
The key speakers at this conference include Sergei Mironov, the leader of the “Just Russia Party” and a deputy of the parliament of the Russian Federation, and Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan. The National Resistance Front has stated that the aim of this meeting is to establish stability in Afghanistan, promote an all-inclusive political process, combat extremism, terrorism, and drugs, encourage social and humanitarian development, and foster international economic cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that this meeting brings together opponents of the Taliban group in Russia. In August of this year, Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, had a meeting with Sergei Mironov, the leader of the “Just Russia Party” and a Deputy of the Parliament of the Russian Federation, at the parliament of that country. During this meeting, the National Resistance Front discussed and held detailed, comprehensive, and constructive talks about the political and security issues of Afghanistan, as well as potential solutions to the crisis in the country.
