RASC News Agency: Recent reports from Iranian media indicate that Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nasiri, the Friday Imam of Yazd province and the representative of Ayatollah Khamenei in the same province, has expressed his desire for the deportation of undocumented Afghanistani asylum seekers residing in Yazd province. Mr. Nasiri emphasized the need for undocumented foreigners to leave the country, as the failure to deport illegal immigrants can have detrimental consequences for both the country and the province.
He further stated that while the status of undocumented citizens is clear and they should be expelled, foreign nationals with permits should also prepare to return to their own country and leave Iran. The Friday Imam of Yazd Province also highlighted that Iran is not a permanent home for foreign citizens, urging them to accept this reality.

In his speech, Mr. Nasiri also emphasized the importance of security officials exercising caution when dealing with migrants, as there are potential threats associated with these individuals. Additionally, the director general of the Department of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants of Yazd province confirmed ongoing efforts to deport Afghanistani refugees from the province. This comes despite the significant increase in forced expulsions of Afghanistani refugees from both Iran and Pakistan in the past month. Reports indicate that over 100,000 Afghanistani immigrants have been forcibly expelled from Iran, while more than 200,000 have faced the same fate in Pakistan.

It is worth noting that these expelled individuals have expressed concerns about their dire living conditions and have urgently requested assistance from international organizations.
