RASC News Agency: The recent earthquakes in Herat province have resulted in a significant number of injuries, as reported by the World Health Organization. According to their statement on the X social network on November 8th, more than 43,000 individuals have been injured and are in need of immediate medical attention. Additionally, the organization highlighted that 23% of the injured individuals are children, emphasizing the vulnerability of the younger population.

The United Nations had previously released information regarding the extent of the damage caused by the earthquakes in Herat province. Over 3,330 houses were completely destroyed, with the Zinda Jan district being the most severely affected. The consecutive earthquakes that occurred in the past month have left the people of this province in a state of despair, as the damage inflicted is irreparable. The upcoming harsh winter poses an additional concern for many families in Herat province, who fear further hardships.

Despite the aid provided by various countries around the world, the residents of Herat province have expressed their dissatisfaction with the distribution of assistance. They claim that a significant portion of the aid has been received by individuals associated with the Taliban group. This situation has further exacerbated the challenges faced by the people of Herat, who are already struggling to cope with the aftermath of the earthquakes.

On October 7th, a devastating earthquake hit certain areas of Herat province, resulting in the loss of numerous lives, thousands of injuries, and leaving thousands of people homeless. As winter approaches, the residents of Herat are facing a dire situation.
