RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Konar province, a traffic incident in this province has claimed the lives of three individuals and injured seven others.
Sources have informed the media on Saturday November 4th, that this incident occurred yesterday in the “Patang Tri” square of Norgul County in this province, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to seven others.
According to sources, this traffic incident occurred when two vehicles, a “Datsun” and a “Saracha”, collided with each other.

Reportedly, the condition of several injured individuals transferred to Konar Provincial Hospital is critical.
Meanwhile, the Taliban group in Konar province has also confirmed the occurrence of this traffic incident and added that the casualties in this incident are elderly individuals.
This comes as the occurrence of traffic incidents in different provinces of the country every year leads to the loss of lives and injuries to a number of Afghanistani citizens.
Furthermore, according to reports, the occurrence of traffic incidents in recent times has seen a significant increase in various provinces of the country.

According to experts’ beliefs, drivers’ recklessness, failure to comply with traffic laws, unfamiliarity with certain routes, excessive speed, and road defects are some of the key reasons that occasionally lead to traffic incidents.
Additionally, based on information, the absence of proper road standards, excessive loading by drivers, and their negligence towards vehicles and difficult-to-pass roads also contribute to the occurrence of traffic incidents from time to time.
