RASC News Agency:Following the intensification of the expulsion of Afghanistani refugees from neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban, announced the establishment of a high commission to address the challenges faced by migrants, under the instruction of Hibatullah Akhundzada, the group’s leader.
Zabihullah Mujahid released a statement on Thursday, October 26th via social media in which he stated that Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy prime minister of the Taliban group, would lead this commission.
Mr. Mujahid further mentioned that 31 senior members of the Taliban are part of this commission, and its procedures are outlined in eight chapters and 31 articles.
In the statement, it is stated, “Given that the Pakistani government intends to expel Afghanistani migrants contrary to all norms,” therefore, this commission has been formed.
According to this statement, this commission will promptly address all challenges faced by the migrants.
Mujahid announces the establishment of this commission while the expulsion of Afghanistani refugees from neighboring countries has escalated, and a large number of refugees have returned to the country and are in urgent need of assistance.
It is worth mentioning that only four days are left from the deadline set by Pakistan for the expulsion of Afghanistani refugees.
It should be noted that Iran has also advocated for the expulsion of illegal Afghanistani migrants from the country.
It is evident that with the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan, the volume of migration of the country’s citizens to neighboring countries has increased.
Experts have attributed poverty, unemployment, lack of security, and the prevailing situation in the country as the main reasons for the migration of its citizens.
