RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Takhar province, the Taliban group has arrested a security commander of the former government in Ishkamesh district of this province.

Sources told the media on Tuesday, October 3, that the people of Mullah Jan, the former deputy governor of the Taliban group for Takhar province in this province arrested this soldier of the previous government.

According to the sources, members of the Taliban group arrested this former soldier, whose name is Haidar Ishkameshi and who is the main resident of Fakhri village of Ishkamesh district, when he was planning to travel to Kunduz province.

According to additional sources, members of the Taliban group also beat this former government soldier during his arrest.

Meanwhile, based on the information of Haidar’s relatives, he worked in the framework of the National Security Directorate of Takhar province in the previous government.

So far, the exact reason and motive behind the arrest of this former government soldier has not been clarified, and the local officials of the Taliban group in Takhar province have not commented on this.

This is despite the fact that the Taliban group has been arresting the soldiers of the previous government since the time of this group’s rule until now, and in most cases, this group kills the soldiers of the previous government.

It should be mentioned that during the year of their rule over the country, the Taliban group has been accused of widespread human rights violations, especially women and soldiers of the previous government.
