RASC News Agency: Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the attack of Kaj education center in Afghanistan. UNAMA released a statement saying they stand with the families of those who lost loved ones and all those who were impacted by the attack.

On Saturday night (September 30), UNAMA released a statement on social media calling the attack a “nightmare” and saying that “decades of conflict and multiple attacks have left Afghanistan’s people in ruins and families seeking answers, justice and responsibility.”

Meanwhile, the Office of the United Nations Deputy Mission in Afghanistan has added that this organization stands by the victims and people who were injured in this incident and other violent incidents in Afghanistan.

UNAMA further said that this institution still supports the life without fear of all Afghanistani citizens and wants the perpetrators of violence to be held accountable.

It should be mentioned that nearly 60 students died and more than 120 others were injured in a suicide attack on Kaj education center in Dasht Barchi area of Kabul on September 30 last year.

The attack on the educational center resulted in the death of almost 60 students, most of whom were reported to have been female students who arrived in the morning to take the Kankor trial exam. Global reactions and protests followed the attack.

This attack led to human rights groups claiming that Hazaras were being targeted, and as a result, hundreds of thousands of Afghanistani protested around the world to demand that the world acknowledge the genocide of Hazaras.
