RASC News Agency: Sources in Takhar province say that the owner of a house killed the brother and niece of the deputy intelligence officer of the Taliban group in this province after entering a house in Taleqan city at night.
According to the sources, this incident happened on Sunday night (September 24) in the village of “Sarae Sang” on the outskirts of Taleqan city, the capital of Takhar province.
A source said that 36-year-old Fazlullah, the brother and 24-year-old Abdullah, the niece of Hasanullah Haqqani, the deputy intelligence officer of the Taliban group, entered a house in Takhar at night and a fight broke out between them and the owner of the house.
According to the source, the owner of the house named Qul Mohammad shot Fazlullah and Abdullah and as a result one of them was killed on the spot and the other died after being taken to the hospital.
According to the information of these sources, these two people had entered the house of Qul Mohammad’s daughter at night with the intention of sexually assaulting her.
Sources said that the deputy intelligence officer of the Taliban group in Takhar has now arrested Qul Mohammad on the charge of killing his brother and niece.
The local officials of the Taliban group, including the spokesperson of the security command of this group in Takhar, do not comment on this matter.
This is not the first time that members of the Taliban group have been accused of sexual assault and attempts to do so.
Some time ago, local sources in Khaja Bahauddin district of Takhar said that the girl’s father killed two armed members of the Taliban group when they tried to sexually assault a girl.
The local officials of the Taliban group have not said anything about that case either.
