Changing the Position of the Taliban Group, The Conditions are Not Favorable for the Education of Girls

RASC News Agency: Shir Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the political deputy of the Taliban group’s foreign ministry, who had repeatedly criticized the group’s exclusion of girls, said during his visit to Panjshir province “conditions are not favorable” for schools and universities to open to girls.

This official of the Taliban group has not explained what conditions he intends to open schools and universities for girls.

For more than two years, the Taliban group has banned girls above the sixth grade from going to school and university.

 

During this time, this group has repeatedly promised that girls’ schools will be reopened; but these promises have not been fulfilled so far.

Also, on (Tuesday, September 19), in his speech in Panjshir Province, Stanikzai asked the opponents of the Taliban group to return to the country.

He said: “I have come to Panjshir province to convey my message to the opponents of the regime, to say in your presence; that we don’t want a single citizen of the country to live outside the country. Everyone can return and there is no danger to them.”

 

Meanwhile, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said in a report dated August 21 that after the Taliban regained control in August 2021 to May 30, 2023, more than 800 cases of human rights violations of employees and it has documented the military of the previous government.

This official of the Taliban group also talked about drone patrolling in the country’s airspace and said that America “is violating our airspace.”

He had previously said that the drones of foreign and neighboring countries are still flying in Afghanistan.
