RASC News Agency: In continuation of the restrictions imposed on the education of Afghanistani girls by the Taliban group, an international organization called (EWC) said that the ban on girls’ education in Afghanistan should be lifted.
On Monday, September 18, EWC, in a statement, asked the world to take immediate measures to give Afghanistani girls access to education.
This international organization has called the denial of girls’ education as a violation of international human rights.
According to an announcement by this organization, a total of 80% of Afghanistani girls of school age are currently deprived of education due to the restrictions imposed.
This organization added, 2.5 million girls have been deprived of their right to education, which is their inherent human right.
EWC said that it stands by the Afghanistani girls who were deprived of their basic right to education and are raising their voice to get it.
This institution asked the Taliban group to provide education for girls above the sixth grade in Afghanistan as soon as possible.
EWC has announced the launch of a global campaign with the cooperation of the special envoy of the United Nations and some human rights organizations to reach girls who are deprived of education and who have raised their voice for it.
It should be mentioned that after taking control of the country, the Taliban group, by imposing restrictions on girls’ education, banned girls above the sixth grade from going to school.
In addition to that, this group also took away the right to education from Afghanistani girls last year by blocking the gates of the university.
It should be noted that the imposition of these restrictions and prohibitions on the lives of citizens and especially women has brought many reactions, but this group has not shown any flexibility.
