RASC News Agency: The commission for contact with Afghanistani personals of the Taliban group has announced the distribution of immunity cards to a number of members of parliament and officials of the previous government.

This commission claimed in an announcement on Monday morning (September 11) that with each passing day, people’s trust in the Taliban group is increasing and that is why Afghanistanis living abroad are in contact with this commission with the aim of returning to the country.

The Taliban group said that immunity cards for former political figures are distributed inside the country based on the procedure of the Contact Commission, and in addition to political figures who come from abroad; former political figures remaining in the country can receive these cards as well.

It should be mentioned that the Taliban group has been arresting, torturing, harassing and in most cases killing the soldiers of the previous government despite the announcement of general amnesty.

Meanwhile, in a new report, the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) held the Taliban group responsible for 800 cases of human rights violations.

UNAMA said that this group has continued to mistreat and torture, arbitrarily arrest and extra legally kill officials and soldiers of the previous government in the last two years. This report reflects the human rights violations of the Taliban group from August 15, 2021 to June 30 of this year.

It is said that not long ago Amnesty International also said in a report that the Taliban group committed war crimes with their actions against the residents of Panjshir province.
