RASC News Agency: Sources in Balkh Province say that a number of students of Balkh University protested against the ban on teaching girls to paint murals.

According to the sources, yesterday, Sunday, September 3, these students expressed their protest against the ban on the education of girls in schools and universities by writing slogans on the walls.

According to sources, protesting students have expressed their protest by writing slogans such as “everyone or nobody” on the walls of “Rawza” in Mazar-e-Sharif.

The sources say that the protesting students did not march due to the fear of being arrested and tortured by the Taliban group; but the protestors have insisted on continuing their protest in other ways, including protesting graffiti.

Those who do not want to be identified due to security reasons, say that the deprivation of girls from education has caused an “irreparable disaster” in the country.

Aziz Rahman, one of the residents of Balkh Province, says about the students’ protest mural painting: “All the people are tired of the Taliban’s actions and have lost their hopes.” »

Khairuddin (pseudonym), a student of Balkh University Faculty of Law and Political Science, told RASC News Agency that a large number of students have started such protests in coordination.

After the Taliban regained power in Afghanistan, they closed the gates of public and private schools and universities to female students and deprived them of education.

Although this gender discrimination of the Taliban group has caused strong national and international reactions and international organizations and governments have condemned this behavior of the Taliban group; But the Taliban group has not paid attention to these reactions.
