RASC News Agency: Nasir Ahmad Faiq, head of Afghanistan’s delegation to the United Nations, has said that this act is an un-Islamic and humane act, in response to the obstruction of the study trip of a group of female students by the Taliban group.

The Taliban group yesterday, August 23, did not allow flying 100 female students who wanted to fly from Kabul Airport to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to study at “Dubai University”.

The education of these female students was provided by an Arab billionaire named Khalaf bin Ahmed Al-Habtoor, a businessman from the United Arab Emirates, and he has taken over all the expenses of these female students.

This Arab businessman wrote on his X social media in response to the Taliban group’s ban on the travel of these girls that he could not find any words to describe his disappointment with this action of the Taliban group.

The prevention of girls’ educational trips by the Taliban group has met with widespread reactions.

Nasir Ahmed Faiq wrote in a message on his X: “It is really sad.” These actions of the Taliban group are un-Islamic and humane and were done deliberately to keep people in ignorance and darkness.

Heather Barr, a human rights activist, in a message on her X social media, called this action of the Taliban group the ultimate “oppression” against Afghanistani girls and women who are deprived of education and said that preventing girls from getting an education leads to their imprisonment.

It should be mentioned that the Taliban group imposed many restrictions on women and girls since they took control of the country and among these restrictions, women and girls are not allowed to travel without their (Muharram) family members.

It is worth mentioning that girls in Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban group are also deprived of going to schools and universities.
