RASC News Agency: Reliable sources confirm that the Taliban group did not allow the Afghanistani female students who were planning to travel to Dubai to study in the country to leave the country today, Wednesday, August 23.
According to sources, the education of these girls has been provided by an Arab billionaire in Dubai.
Sources added that more than 35 girls were not allowed to go on this educational trip, as they had one of their family members “Mahram Sharia” with them, as requested by the Taliban group.
The sources have added that these students have been looking for this scholarship for nearly a year and after they were assured that the Taliban group will not allow them to travel without a religious mahram, in cooperation with the Al Habtoor Charity Foundation and Dubai University for their family members (Brother or father) also got a visa.
According to sources, these girls were supposed to fly from Kabul Airport to Dubai at 8 am this Wednesday, 1 August 23, but they returned to their homes “in despair” after being prevented by the Taliban group.
At the same time, documents from the relatives of some of these girls have been published, which indicate that their “family member’s visa” application form has been approved.
Taliban officials have not yet said anything about this issue.
These scholarships have been provided by Khalaf Ahmad al-Habtoor, an Arab billionaire, for these girls.
This is while the Taliban group banned Afghanistani women and girls from going to school and university after taking control of the country.
At the same time, other restrictions have been imposed by this group on Afghanistani women and girls, including traveling without family members( Mahram).
