RASC News Agency: The United Nations has appreciated the work of Afghanistani women entrepreneurs and said that these women should be supported throughout Afghanistan.

The Women’s Department of the United Nations made these statements on the occasion of the World Entrepreneurs’ Day on August 21, in a message on X social media and said that the activity of Afghanistani business women during this period is a surprising thing.

This organization added that the efforts of Afghanistani women over the past two years have been contrary to expectations despite the repressive restrictions.

The United Nations added that Afghanistani women have worked hard to create jobs and participate in the growth of the Afghanistan economy.

This is while the Taliban group has imposed many restrictions on the work, education and sightseeing of women and girls, and women’s work prohibited in the majority of government offices and foreign and domestic non-governmental institutions.

Recently, the Ministry of Amr Bil Maruf also blocked women’s beauty salons. As a result, thousands of women, some of whom were the sole breadwinners of their families, became unemployed.

At the same time, the women of the profession have emphasized that they are trying to provide work for women who were deprived of their basic rights.

Meanwhile, businesswomen in the country have played an active role in the recent exhibitions of domestic products.

According to the World Bank report, Afghanistan is among eleven countries in the world where women’s trade and business activities have decreased.

This bank considered the reason for the decrease in the activity of businesswomen to be the change in the systems and restrictions on women’s work and education by the Taliban group.

After two years, the Taliban group has not been recognized by the international community and the violation of human rights, especially the human rights of girls and women, is considered one of the main reasons for this situation.
