RASC News Agency: The Children’s Rescue Fund has found out in a recent study that after two years of Taliban control over Kabul, more than one third of children were forced to work.

According to this organization, children forced to work in order to support themselves and their families face dangerous situations. In the assessment of the situation of children, the Save the Children Organization wrote that more than one third (38.5%) of the children they spoke with were forced to work in order to help their families and to deal with the growing poverty and hunger.

According to this report, the results of a survey of households in six provinces of Afghanistan indicated the dire needs of people who are struggling with a deadly combination of poverty, climate change and hunger. This organization said that the deprivation of millions of people from food aid due to the international budget deficit can be a wake-up call for the members of the international community to pay attention in this regard.

Meanwhile, referring to the latest information of the International Labor Organization, this organization announced that one out of every 10 children in Afghanistan is engaged in work.

Arshad Malek, one of the officials of the Children’s Rescue Fund in Afghanistan, said: “Since the Taliban took over, the living conditions for women and children have become the worst in the world. What we are seeing is a complete storm of climate change crisis, poverty and the legacy of conflict that hunger, It imposes malnutrition and misery on people who had no involvement in the occurrence of these conditions.

“This international organization said, in such a situation, women and girls have the worst situation.According to the statistics of this aid organization, female heads are twice as likely to face hunger as male heads of the family; girls are 17% more likely to go to bed with an empty stomach than boys are.

At the same time, with the domination of the Taliban group over the country, the statistics of poverty and unemployment are rampant, and this group has aggravated it by banning women from working.
