RASC News Agency: The United Nations Security Council has announced the increase in the activities of the Khorasan branch of the Islamic State (ISIS) group in Afghanistan and expressed concern that the situation in this country has become more complicated and has posed a threat to the countries of the world and the region.

Recently, the ISIS group in Afghanistan has taken responsibility for many attacks, including the killing of several commanders and high-ranking people of the Taliban group, including the governor of the Taliban group for Balkh province.

In the report of the Secretary General of the United Nations to the Security Council, concern has been expressed about the access of ISIS to weapons and other military equipment in Afghanistan after the re-establishment of the Taliban group in this country.

According to the report, the information received by them shows that the weapons and military equipment that were given by NATO to the former forces of Afghanistan have been given to ISIS and the East Turkestan Islamic Movement by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban.
