RASC: Following the reactions of Islamic countries regarding the burning of a copy of the Quran in Sweden, the Taliban group announced that all activities of this country in Afghanistan should be stopped.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban group, said in a statement on Tuesday, July 11, that the Taliban group will issue an order to stop all of Sweden’s activities in Afghanistan until Sweden does not seek forgiveness from Muslims for doing this act.

Mujahid said that the relevant institutions of the Taliban group are obliged to take immediate action to implement this matter.

The spokesperson of the Taliban group said that I want the Islamic countries of the world to reconsider their interaction with Sweden.

This act of the Iraqi citizen of Sweden last week caused many reactions from Islamic countries and condemned this act.

It should be noted that currently the Swedish diplomatic mission is not present in Afghanistan and has not established any relationship with the Taliban group, but Swedish institutions, including a Swedish committee, provide assistance to the needy in Afghanistan.

According to this order, the activities of the Swedish aid organizations will stop assisting Afghanistani needy people.

This is despite the fact that after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, poverty and unemployment have affected all citizens, and the number of people in need of humanitarian aid has increased.
