The World Bank Announced the Decline in the Role of Afghanistani Women in Business

RASC: The World Bank has announced in a report that Afghanistan is among eleven countries in the world where women’s trade and business activities have decreased.

This bank said in its annual report on Monday, June 19, that Chad, Guinea, New Zealand, Mali, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen are among the countries where women have a small share in business.

Based on the report of the World Bank, the main factors that reduce the activity of women are political changes, restrictions on women’s work and education, which have a negative impact on their economic and psychological aspects.

In this report, the reduction of women’s work and activity is mentioned as an important cause for the country’s economic situation, and women’s business activities are considered important for the economic development of a country.

The report of the World Bank is published while the report shows that for almost two years, girls above the sixth grade have been deprived of education and also the role of women has decreased in many social sectors.
