RASC: In the new report of the United Nations Security Council, a copy of which has been leaked, it has been said that the relationship between the ruling Taliban group in Afghanistan and the Al-Qaeda network and Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is still strong.

According to this report, the risk of terrorism in Afghanistan and the region is increasing. In this report, it is stated that under the rule of the Taliban group, the terrorist groups have more freedom of maneuver and they use the rule of the Taliban group well. The report adds that the threat of terrorism is increasing both in Afghanistan and in the region.

Although the Taliban group’s military operations against ISIS in Khorasan are mentioned in this report, it is stated that the Taliban group did not fulfill the provisions of its agreement with the United States in the fight against terrorism.

The report written: “There are signs that Al-Qaeda is rebuilding its operational capabilities, the Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is carrying out attacks in Pakistan with the support of the Afghanistan Taliban, foreign terrorist groups pose a threat across Afghanistan’s borders, and the ISIS operation in Khorasan is becoming more complicated day by day.
