RASSC: Taliban officials in Jawzjan confirm that a young man was shot dead by one of his relatives.
Abdul Sattar Halimi, the spokesman of the Taliban security command in Jawzjan, says that this man’s name was Khal Mohammad and that he was killed yesterday (June 6) by a person named Hayatullah.
The victim was 26 years old and a resident of “Eid Mahala” area of Sheberghan city, the center of Jawzjan, he was busy working daily.
The Taliban group called the motive of this murder a family dispute and they say that Hayatullah was a close relative of Khal Mohammad.
The police spokesperson of the Taliban group adds that Hayatullah, who fled from the area after killing Khal Mohammad, was arrested yesterday evening.
It should be mentioned that several cases of murder and suicide are reported from the provinces these days.
