RASC: The National Examinations Department of the Taliban group has announced that following the recruitment test in which 256 people participated, it has selected 200 of them to be employed in the Department of numeration for Amr Bil Maruf for 22 districts of Kabul.
After the return of the Taliban group to power on August 15, 2021, the Ministry of Public Affairs of the government of this group assigned white-coated people called Mohtasab to patrol the roads and streets in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
Until now, the most focus of the numeration offices of the Taliban group has been on the presence of women and monitoring their hijab outside the home.
In some cases, Taliban officials have detained men, questioned men’s beards and clothing, searched people’s mobile phones and even searched people’s houses.
Human rights organizations have called the Taliban group’s restrictions on Afghanistani citizens, especially women and girls, as contrary to the principles of human rights and have called for its cancellation.
