Taliban Group: Shia Religious Group Problems Will Be Solved

RASC: Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the Taliban group, met with a number of elders and Shia scholars and said that he will try to address and solve the challenges of the Shia.

The ARG, under the control of the Taliban group said, in a statement on the morning of Today, May 30, according to the visitors, that after the Taliban group regained control, the foundations of the Islamic system are being strengthened and the nation welcomes it.

They shared the demands of Shia Afghanistani in some areas with the agent of the Taliban group.

The announcement added that Mawlawi Abdul Kabir called service to the nation the responsibility of the Taliban group and added that the relevant departments will deal with their problems.

He added that the Taliban group is trying to provide services and balanced development to all Afghanistani in the same way.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir makes these claims while the Taliban group has dominated Afghanistan for nearly two years, and yet none of the demands of the Afghanistani Shia community have been accepted by the Taliban group.

This is despite the fact that the status of Shia individuals was derecognised, the teaching of Jafari jurisprudence in Bamyan University was banned. As well as, the holiday of Ashura and other Shia religious calendar events removed from the official calendar of the Taliban group, and the holding of cultural and ethnic occasions of Shia people, including they banned celebration from Abdul Ali Mazari.
