Detention of 2 People By Taliban Group in Sare Pol Province

 RASC: The local officials of the Taliban group in Sare Pol province say that they have arrested a man and a young girl from Gosfandi and Sancharak districts of this province on the charge of “illegitimate relationship”.

The spokesperson of the security command of the Taliban group in Sarpol province said that the agents of the Taliban group arrested these two people this Saturday, May 27.

He added that one of the accused is a 27-year-old man and a resident of “Alghan” village in Gosfandi district, and another one is a young girl and a resident of “Takzar” village in Sancharak district of this province.  

    According to the spokesperson of the security command of the Taliban group in Sarpol province, the accusation of both of them is “illegitimate relationship” and “moral corruption”. He said that the case of these two people has been handed over to the legal and judicial organs of the Taliban group in Sarpol for further investigation.

In recent days, the Taliban group has announced several cases of arrests on the charge of “illegitimate relationship” and they have punished a number of people in Kandahar with such accusations.
