66 Afghanistani Citizens Released from the Prison of Pakistan’s Sindh State

RASC: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban announced the release of 66 Afghanistani citizens who imprisoned in the prisons of Pakistan’s Sindh state.

 Hafiz Zia Ahmad, Deputy Spokesman of the Taliban’s Foreign Ministry, wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday, May 25, that these prisoners released yesterday and returned to Afghanistan with “government funds”.

According to the deputy spokesperson of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, these prisoners released due to the efforts of the Afghanistan embassy in Islamabad and the country’s consulate in Karachi.

According to the Deputy Spokesperson of the Taliban’s Foreign Ministry, until now 2,342 Afghanistani citizens been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to the country.

The Taliban group had previously announced the release of Afghanistani citizens from Pakistani prisons.
