RASC: Sources say that the intelligence of the Taliban group has arrested a civil activist who had a history of working as an officer in the Ministry of interior affairs arrested from Kabul airport.

The name of this civil activist is Mujib Zia and he is a media consultant of the Rahmani Charitable Foundation.

One of Zia’s friends said that he arrested yesterday morning, Monday, May 15, at the Kabul airport, when he wanted to go to Iran.

According to the source, Zia has gone to Iran after the fall of the Afghan government and came to Kabul a few weeks ago because of the death of his father.

The reason for the arrest of this civil activist is still unclear. The Taliban group has not said anything about this until now.

One of Mujib Zia’s friends says that he worked as an officer in the Ministry of Interior affairs until 2014, and then he left and turned to civil and social activities.

Lately, he was working as a media consultant for Rahmani Charity Foundation.
