The killing of a religious scholar by unknown people in Baghlan province

Rasc: Security officials of the Taliban group in Baghlan province say that a religious scholar was killed by unknown armed men in Nahrin city of this province.

Shir Ahmad Burhani, the spokesman of the Taliban’s security governorate for Baghlan province, says that this religious scholar was named Nuruddin and he was killed around 8:30 last night (Friday, May 5) in Hafez Bacha village of Nahrin city.
He added that the motive of this person’s murder is not clear and investigations have been started in this regard.

A public source tells the media that this religious scholar was shot and killed last night while returning from a party.
It should be mentioned that recently mysterious murders have increased in the country.
