Resistance Front Commander Urges Afghanistanis to Persist in Their Struggle Against the Taliban

RASC News Agency: Hamed Saifi, a senior commander of the National Resistance Front (NRF), has reaffirmed that true Islamic governance is founded on trust, accountability, and service to the people not on tyranny and self-righteousness. In a sharp condemnation of the Taliban, Saifi accused the group of consistently acting against the national interests of Afghanistan, stating that they have never served the people or worked for the betterment of society. He described the Taliban leadership as autocratic rulers who demand unquestioning obedience while shirking all responsibility toward the nation.

In a post on his X account, Saifi wrote:

“The leader of this group, in his latest address, absolved himself of any responsibility for the widespread poverty and suffering in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, their self-proclaimed governor in Balkh has threatened citizens, declaring that no one has the right to criticize their oppressive regime.” Referring to verses from the Holy Quran, Commander Saifi asserted that resisting and overthrowing an unjust regime is a divine command. He emphasized that the fight against the Taliban is not only a national duty but also a religious obligation.

He called upon the people of Afghanistan not to remain silent in the face of oppression and to continue their resistance until the Taliban regime is completely dismantled. Saifi further declared that the Taliban’s downfall is inevitable and that their rule is nothing more than a fleeting phase in Afghanistan’s history. Previously, various NRF commanders and officials have echoed similar sentiments, vowing to fight until the complete collapse of Taliban rule. The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan remains the most active armed opposition force against the Taliban, having launched hundreds of operations over the past three years, resulting in over 500 Taliban casualties and more than 600 wounded.

The NRF has consistently reiterated its commitment to armed resistance, positioning itself as the final stronghold against tyranny, extremism, and the systematic oppression of the Afghanistani people.

Two women murdered by their husbands in Kapisa province RASC News Agency: According to local sources in Kapisa province, two women have been reportedly murdered by their husbands within the last 24 hours in the Hese Awal of the Kohistan district. The first incident took place around 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, in the village of Ghafarkhil, situated in the Hese Awal of the Kohistan district in Kapisa province. The victim, identified as Muska, was allegedly shot and killed by her husband, making use of a Kalashnikov weapon. Moreover, local sources have informed about a second incident that occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, in the same village of Ghafarkhil, located in Kapisa's Kohistan district. The incidents, both within the same village, involved a man named Qand Agha, who purportedly killed his wife utilizing a hunting rifle. Family violence has been reported as the motive for both murders, as shared by local sources. It is worth noting that during the two-year period of Taliban rule in Afghanistan, incidents of family violence have witnessed a significant increase, with housewives being the primary victims. Experts attribute this disturbing trend to factors such as poverty, unemployment, mental health issues, and broader societal problems. The tragic and brutal torture and killing of Afghanistani women and girls are not new issues as they belong to a vulnerable group within the community and frequently endure repressive violations in the country. However, women's rights activists and human rights defenders are actively engaged in protesting and advocating for the rights of women nationwide, while two women were brutally killed in a single village within a day.
