RASC News Agency: According to reports compiled from the Bakhtar News Agency under the Taliban administration, Iran and Pakistan have expelled a total of 674 Afghanistani migrant families over the past week. Between Saturday and Wednesday November 30 to December 4, these families were forcibly or voluntarily returned to Afghanistan. The news agency has yet to release the data for the final two days of the week. The statistics indicate that Iran expelled 485 families, while Pakistan deported 189 Afghanistani migrant families. During the five-day period, 94 families returned through the Torkham border crossing, while 95 families reentered Afghanistan via the Spin Boldak route.
Additionally, 113 families entered Afghanistan through the Pul-e-Abreshim border in Nimroz, and 372 families came through the Islam Qala crossing in Herat. This follows a previous week, from December 3 to 9, when Iran and Pakistan collectively expelled 989 Afghanistani migrant families. During that week, Iran sent back 753 families, while Pakistan deported 236 families. These families crossed back into Afghanistan through various border points in Nangarhar, Kandahar, Nimroz, and Herat.
The continued expulsions underscore the harsh realities faced by Afghanistani migrants, who are being compelled to return under increasingly difficult conditions in neighboring countries.
