RASC News Agency: In a video shared on X following her meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Malala Yousafzai asserted that the Taliban must be held accountable for their actions. During the meeting, she emphasized the need for global leaders to show solidarity with the women and girls of Afghanistan, expressing hope that world leaders will send a message of hope and unity to Afghanistani women.

Malala told Trudeau, “Since our last meeting, we could not have imagined that we would reach a point where girls’ education would be entirely banned. But that is the grim reality now facing girls in Afghanistan.” It is important to note that Yousafzai has previously called on governments to hold the Taliban accountable for the crimes they have committed.

In a video posted on her Instagram, she stressed: “I, along with many allies around the world, will continue to fight by your side to hold the Taliban accountable. People around the globe hear your voices and stand in solidarity with you. We will not rest until your rights are restored.”

Malala also pointed out that three years have passed since the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan. She underlined that the ongoing ban on girls’ education beyond the sixth grade is part of the Taliban’s “brutal and misogynistic campaign” aimed at systematically erasing women and girls from participation in public life, education, and employment.
