RASC News Agency: Sources in Kunduz have informed RASC that the Taliban recently held a “Satanology” class for their members and local youth. Among the non-Taliban participants, only one individual passed the exam. According to the sources, the Taliban conducted the course titled “Analysis of Satan’s Army,” but out of one hundred participants, only twelve passed the exam, with the majority failing. Most of those who succeeded were members of the Taliban.
The sources stated that participants showed little interest in the Taliban’s teachings, resulting in only twelve passing the exam, while the rest failed. On Monday, September 16, it was reported that the class was held a few days prior, and out of one hundred participants, eleven were Taliban members, and one was a veterinary student. The sources further explained that the majority of those who failed were non-Taliban participants. The class was held at the Legal Clinic of Kunduz University.
Previously, the Taliban have conducted similar courses on “Satanology,” “Demonology,” and “Emiratology,” issuing certificates to graduates. Through these classes, the Taliban seek to promote their ideology and enforce their perspective on society. Since their return to power, the Taliban have frequently organized “Emiratology” competitions, offering prizes to the winners in an effort to attract public support and impose their beliefs. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to manipulate the population and propagate their regime through such events.
The Taliban remain staunchly opposed to academic disciplines outside of Islamic sciences.
