RASC News Agency: Local sources in Kabul report that the Taliban have recently begun house-to-house inspections in select areas of the city. Sources informed the media that the inspections commenced around 4:30 AM on Tuesday, April 30, in the Arya township and Char Qala Wazirabad neighborhoods.

Although the exact reason for the Taliban’s action remains unclear, local residents believe the group is likely searching for weapons. Residents have reported that the Taliban exhibited “harsh” behavior during the inspections. The Taliban have not yet issued a statement regarding the matter.

Recently, homes in Kabul’s District 7 were also subject to inspections by the Taliban. Since taking control of the country, the Taliban have carried out similar actions in Kabul and several provinces, occasionally detaining local residents.
