RASC News Agency: The Freedom Front of Afghanistan claims its forces recently launched an attack against Taliban members in Kabul. According to a statement from the Freedom Front, this pre-planned operation occurred on Sunday evening, April 28, targeting a gathering of the Taliban at a checkpoint within the jurisdiction of the fourth security district near Quwai Markaz.

The statement noted the attack resulted in the deaths of four Taliban members and injuries to two others. According to the statement, “The leader of this Taliban group, who serves as the head of the fourth security district, along with several other Taliban commanders, was present at the checkpoint, displaying their power over the local population with their guards.”

However, the Freedom Front did not specify whether the head of the fourth security district in Kabul was killed or injured. A video of the Freedom Front’s attack has been released. Earlier reports from Kabul noted an explosion was heard in the Quwai Markaz area.

This marks the sixth attack by the Freedom Front and Resistance Front forces on Taliban positions in Kabul over the past 48 hours. Previously, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan claimed one Taliban member was killed near the Kabul Stadium in the jurisdiction of the eighth security district of the city.
