RASC News Agency: Afghanistan’s national football team is poised to take on India in the inaugural match of their journey to the FIFA World Cup. The match is slated to kick off at 11:30 PM on Thursday night, Mar 21, according to Afghanistan time, in Saudi Arabia.

Ashley Westwood, the new coach of Afghanistan’s national football team, emphasized that despite the existing challenges confronting the team, its members are ready to compete against India.

According to reports from the Afghanistan Football Federation, as cited by Westwood, two well-executed training sessions have been conducted with the participation of the invited footballers in Saudi Arabia.

Westwood expressed optimism that notwithstanding the obstacles, the team will deliver a favorable outcome for Afghanistan and its people.

The second match between Afghanistan’s national football team and India is scheduled for March 26th, and if Afghanistan manages to secure victories in both matches against India, it will clinch third place in the group, following Qatar and Kuwait.
