RASC News Agency: Local sources from Samangan province report that a young woman, accompanied by her six-year-old son, was mysteriously murdered in the province. Sources informed the media on Thursday, Mar 21, that the headless body of a young woman, along with her six-year-old son, was found in the village of Chaqmaq in the Hazrat Sultan district of Samangan province.

According to sources, unidentified individuals decapitated the 28-year-old woman. Based on local accounts, the woman and her six-year-old son were murdered six days ago, and Taliban security officials have yet to comment on the matter. Meanwhile, sources added that three years ago, Taliban members had killed the woman’s brother in the Hazrat Sultan district of Samangan province.

Sources claim that this young woman and her son were murdered by members of the Taliban. This comes as the rate of criminal incidents and mysterious murders has unprecedentedly increased in recent days in several provinces of the country. In late March last year, the decapitated body of a young man was also found in the third district of Kunduz city.
