RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front has issued a report on its activities during the preceding year, revealing that its forces have eliminated or wounded 400 Taliban members. On Tuesday, March 19th, the National Resistance Front published a comprehensive overview of its military engagements from the 1st of April 2023 to the 18th of March 2024, emphasizing its primary focus on military operations throughout the year.
The front highlighted that it conducted a total of 150 military operations across 17 provinces of the country, resulting in over 400 Taliban casualties, comprising 194 fatalities and 210 injuries. Furthermore, the front has dealt the heaviest blows to the Taliban in provinces such as Takhar, Kabul, Balkh, Parwan, and Badakhshan, while also engaging in guerrilla warfare in provinces like Kapisa, Nuristan, Kunduz, Ghor, Herat, Maidan Wardak, Nangarhar, Laghman, Samangan, Badghis, Balkh, and Konar.
Strategically, the front has executed operations in critical areas such as air force bases, Kabul airfield, and government compounds, targeting Taliban security and military leadership.
In the same period, the front mourned the loss of 17 of its members. The National Resistance Front further underscored that following the Taliban’s assumption of power, it has raised the banner of resistance against occupation and terrorism, commencing its struggle for the nation’s liberation and the restoration of sovereign governance.
It is noteworthy that the National Resistance Front, in its report, has affirmed its unwavering commitment to minimizing civilian casualties and adhering to Islamic principles and human rights standards in its operations.
