RASC News Agency: According to local sources in Samangan Province, armed unidentified individuals recently opened fire on a man named Shafieullah in the Dara-e-Souf Payan district of the province. Sources from Samangan Province informed the media on Wednesday, February 14th, that the incident occurred last night in the center of the Dara-e-Souf Payan district of the province. According to sources, the armed unidentified individuals shot at Shafieullah while he was returning home with his brother.

Sources add that as a result of this shooting, Shafieullah lost his life, and his brother was severely injured. According to sources, the man was “self-employed” and had no personal animosity with any individual or group. This comes as, following the Taliban’s takeover, the rate of criminal activities, especially mysterious and targeted killings, kidnappings, and armed robberies, has increased in various parts of the country.

In the latest incident, unidentified armed individuals also killed a 46-year-old man named Abdulrahman in the vicinity of the Zaranj-Delaram highway in Nimroz Province yesterday.
