Taliban group addresses Iran and Pakistan: resolve the tensions through dialogue

RASC News Agency: The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has articulated its apprehension concerning the recent escalations between Iran and Pakistan. In an official statement, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the ministry’s spokesperson, underscored the imperative of resolving these tensions through diplomatic discourse. He implored both nations to collaborate in establishing a secure regional environment and to approach the issues with judicious restraint.

The intensification of hostilities between Iran and Pakistan can be traced back to Iran’s missile and drone assaults on Pakistani territory. In retaliation, Pakistan responded with missile attacks on Iranian soil. Iran contended that its strikes targeted the Jaish al-Adl group in Pakistan, obliterating their bases. Conversely, Pakistan asserted that it aimed at the Sarmachar group in Iran. These divergent actions have prompted concerns among global authorities.

The international community has vigilantly monitored the unfolding situation between Iran and Pakistan, expressing apprehension about the potential deleterious effects on Afghanistan and its populace. Diverse authorities worldwide have conveyed their optimism that the tensions will be amicably resolved, devoid of any adverse repercussions for Afghanistan. It is imperative for both Iran and Pakistan to engage in constructive dialogue and seek a diplomatic resolution to alleviate tensions and preserve stability in the region.
