RASC News Agency: In response to the escalating violence against Afghanistani women perpetrated by the Taliban in Kabul, a member of the Afghanistan Freedom Front has recently issued a letter, pledging to reclaim the city for its rightful owners—the women of Afghanistan. Shared on social media by the Freedom Front on Wednesday, January 10th, the letter is perceived as a direct response to the Taliban’s arrest of young Afghanistani women for not adhering to hijab in Kabul.
The missive from the Freedom Front fighter underscores the profound impact of the suffering experienced by Afghanistani women. It asserts that the tears shed by these women have fortified the guerrilla’s determination, ensuring unwavering resolve in facing the adversary. The letter ardently declares, “We will restore Kabul to you, as it is the women who genuinely possess this city. I solemnly swear upon your tears, upon the pearls that have bestowed upon me the unyielding courage to confront the enemy without trepidation.”
The letter also addresses the harrowing ordeals endured by Afghanistani women, who have been forcibly taken from the streets and their own homes, leaving them with no sanctuary except in their dreams. The Freedom Front fighter pledges allegiance to the dreams of these women, committing to champion their freedom. Amidst the Taliban’s ongoing arrests and detentions of young women and girls for not complying with hijab, the publication of this letter serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring struggle for women’s rights in Afghanistan.
