Sources from Nangarhar province relayed to the media on Wednesday,December 20, that unidentified armed individuals had abducted this merchant from the vicinity of Jalalabad, the central city of the province, last Friday, December 15th.
According to these sources, the merchant, identified as Haji Jalil, had been officially confirmed as abducted by his family in Nangarhar province. They assert that unidentified armed individuals kidnapped him from the front of his residence. The son of this merchant conveyed that the unidentified armed individuals seized his father on his way home from Friday prayers, relocating him to an undisclosed location. Despite several days having elapsed since his abduction, there is no information about his fate. The son emphasized that his father, at the age of 70, grapples with diabetes. However, the Taliban in Nangarhar province has yet to issue a statement on the abduction of this merchant by unidentified armed individuals.
