RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front recently announced that, subsequent to two distinct offensives by its forces against the Taliban in Nuristan and Kabul provinces, four Taliban members met their demise, while four others sustained injuries. As detailed by the Front, the “Members” resistance forces initiated an assault on a Taliban base located in the “Gandala Bok” region of Nurgaram district, Nuristan province, at 1 a.m. on Monday,December 13th. This operation resulted in the demise of two Taliban members, with an additional four sustaining injuries. The National Resistance Front emphasizes that its forces experienced no casualties during this operation in Nuristan province.
Conversely, the National Resistance Front forces proclaimed that, on the preceding day, Tuesday, December 12th, they targeted the compound of Taliban commander Haji Jelani in the Shakardara district of Kabul province. The outcome of this assault was the demise of both Jelani and his guard. The National Resistance Front highlights that Jelani was the principal residence of Helmand province and was working in Kabul police command. Nevertheless, there is no available information regarding whether the resistance forces incurred any injuries in this attack.
It is noteworthy that, in recent times, there has been a marked escalation in the frequency of attacks by opposing fronts against Taliban positions and bases in various provinces of the country. In the most recent incident, the Freedom Front, operating under the banner of the Afghanistan Freedom Front, declared that, following an assault by its forces on a Taliban base in Samangan province, three Taliban members lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries.
