The Taliban security command in Nangarhar province issued a press release on Tuesday, December 12th, outlining the first incident that unfolded in the “Zawla Kadala” area in Khogiani district.
Hafiz Abdul Basir Zabuli, the security commander of the Taliban in Nangarhar province, elucidated that the explosion of an unexploded war-related munition resulted in severe injuries to a child named Shekib. Additionally, local Taliban officials in Nangarhar province reported another incident where three individuals, including a woman, sustained injuries due to a verbal dispute between two families in the “Dara-e-Noor” district.
Crucially, it is imperative to acknowledge that similar incidents have transpired in various provinces across the country, leading to a notable number of children being either injured or killed by remnants of war ammunition.
