RASC News Agency: John Bolton, the former National Security Advisor of the White House, has recently voiced concerns about the presence of foreign terrorist groups in Afghanistan. However, he posits that the primary issue lies with the Taliban group itself. In an exclusive interview with the Voice of America, Bolton underscored that despite a significant decrease in suicide attacks, explosives, and roadside bombs since the Taliban assumed control of Afghanistan, the continued presence of the Taliban and foreign terrorists remains a direct threat to the United States and other nations worldwide.

Bolton further accentuated that the world’s attention is currently diverted to other regions, such as the Middle East and Ukraine. He cautioned that the Taliban may interpret this as a vulnerable period for the United States and other nations. Throughout the interview, Bolton critiqued statements made by Hamid Karzai, suggesting that some individuals might be engaging with the Taliban group similarly. He expressed concern that such remarks could convey the notion that living under the Taliban’s rule is acceptable, contradicting the views of the majority who do not support the group.

It is noteworthy that Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, recently declared that he no longer advocates for the collapse of regimes in Afghanistan. Instead, he calls for policy reforms and urges the people of Afghanistan to unite in building their future. However, Karzai’s statement has faced criticism from social media users and certain Afghanistani women who argue that it inadequately addresses the concerns and rights of the Afghanistani people.
