RASC News Agency: The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has once again underscored the imperative of establishing an all-encompassing government in Afghanistan. Naser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, conveyed to the media on Monday, November 27, that Tehran is dedicated to ensuring stability and security in Afghanistan. He elucidated, “We recognize the value of regional efforts and mechanisms. Our positions over the past two years have been intricately defined within this framework. We are not aiming to exclude any faction within Afghanistan from the political processes. Every entity should contribute to shaping a government that authentically represents all the people and ethnicities of Afghanistan, and our engagements align with this framework.”
This assertion aligns with Iran’s persistent advocacy for a comprehensive government in Afghanistan, deeming it indispensable for the nation. Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that the Taliban has consistently asserted that their government encompasses all ethnicities, challenging such demands from global authorities. Moreover, the international community has consistently implored the Taliban to incorporate all ethnicities into their governance, facilitating the recognition of the group. It is worth mentioning that the global society and prominent figures worldwide have steadfastly called upon the Taliban to rescind restrictions on women and girls and adhere to their commitments.
It must be emphasized that not only has the Taliban failed to lift existing restrictions on women and girls, but they persist in imposing new limitations daily. It is crucial to acknowledge that the global community has consistently urged the Taliban to predicate their recognition on the establishment of a comprehensive government in Afghanistan and the removal of imposed restrictions on women and girls in the country.
